Location

The Belvedere is centrally located in the village providing ease of access to all the shops, pub, restaurants, craft shops and coffee shops.

Middleton-in-Teesdale is a beautiful village, with lots of useful amenities, and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. Having a car does make it easier to access the more remote tourist spots, such as High Force, but there is an hourly bus service which can take you to Barnard Castle where there is even more to explore such as the castle, Bowes Museum and lots of independent shops which offer a wide variety of gifts, clothes, books and lots more places to eat.
