Bistro Prego
Serving rusic Italian food in contemporary surroundings, this is right up our street and only 15 minutes away. Ignore the bit about accommodation - I'm sure you'd much rather stay here!
The Forge Hammer
This pub, just around the corner from Belvedere House, harbours one of Lydbrook's best-kept secrets: a fantastic Indian restaurant. 2 recent guests from Leeds said it was the best curry they had ever eaten.
The Courtfield Arms
Just at the bottom of our drive, this great pub offers good food, beer & wine. Visit on a Friday evening and pick your cut and size of steak - cooked just how you like it. There's always something going on - see the website for the latest events.

Are you bored with the same old lead-up to Christmas? At Belvedere House, we're ideally placed to make this year a little different. Maybe go shopping in Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth or stylish Cheltenham? Visit Taurus Crafts or Clearwell Caves to find that Christmas spirit and go potty at the Reckless Designs or Mary Rose Young workshops. After a great day out, come back here and relax for a while before taking the two minute walk to The Courtfield Arms for a great meal. You may never want to leave.

Walkers and cyclists - trails abound in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Spend a great Winter day out and come back to one of our cosy rooms. Wet clothes? No worries! Put them into our drying room overnight and be ready to roll in the morning. No more soggy garments draped over the bath. We'll even wash them for you if you want. This is how a B&B should be.

Want to give an unusual gift? Why not learn about the wealth of produce that can be foraged for free? Local company Wilderness Discovery run courses covering this and much more.
