Belevedere House - Guest House Bed and Breakfast Accommodation Lower Lydbrook Gloucestershire

Rooms

Belvedere House Bedroom The bedrooms have been professionally designed to offer you contemporary accommodation with all the cosiness of home. Egyptian cotton bedding and anti-allergy duvets keep you comfortable whatever the weather. Soft carpet underfoot, lots of storage for clothes and luggage, and thoughtful lighting all go to make the rooms comfortable and inviting – a truly relaxing place to spend your break.

Both rooms have:

  • New - for business guests (or web-junkies) we have installed wireless internet access. You have to supply the laptop though, we're not that generous!
  • TV with DVD/CD player
  • Large, en-suite bathrooms
  • Radio alarms
  • Hairdryers
  • Lockable safe
  • Thermostatic controls to radiators
  • Beverage tray with a wide selection of teas & coffee
  • Complementary home-baked mini-cookies and some yummy chocs
  • Bathrobes

If you forget your toothbrush, just ask and we’ll give you with a new one, we’ll even throw in a tube of toothpaste! If there’s anything that we’ve overlooked, please ask and we’ll do our best to provide it.

First Floor Conservatory The well-planned bathrooms offer the same delightful views as the bedrooms. With large, fluffy towels and bathrobes, fragrant oils and quality toiletries from Pure Lakes, you can pamper yourself before settling down to watch a DVD or to enjoy your favourite programme on the flat-screen T.V.

Just along the corridor there is a drying room where wet or muddy clothes and shoes can snuggle down overnight, ready for you to wear again in the morning. Gill is happy to launder occasionally for a small extra charge.

There is a first floor conservatory for guests, with a selection of books, maps and local guides as well as an extensive collection of DVDs. You’re free to relax in here while you read, chat, enjoy a drink or simply watch the squirrels in the walnut tree above. You may find yourself competing for chair space with our large, friendly cat, Noodles but she will happily budge up in exchange for a tickle under the chin.

Once you return from your day out, why not treat yourself to a massage, aromatherapy or reflexology treatment in the comfort of your room? If arranged in advance, Gill can book a fully qualified therapist to visit. Rates on request.

Bedrooms and BathroomsBedroom 1

This is a light and airy room that offers either twin beds or a 6ft double. Chocolate and teal soft furnishings complement the neutral walls and flooring beautifully. The ensuite has a shower bath, so you can bathe, shower or do both at once!

Bedroom 2

With a 5ft double bed, you can stretch out and relax after your days out. Restful olive and brown accessories make this an inviting room to be in. The en-suite has a large, luxury shower and built-in furniture to give the room a clean, modern feel.
