Breakfast Table

Home-baked cookies, cakes, scones.....something different will be waiting for you every afternoon.

Help yourself to the selection of breakfast items on the sideboard whilst I cook you a hearty breakfast using where possible, the best, locally sourced ingredients. Lighter options are available for those who want a change from the full English: maybe a locally-smoked kipper or some berries and yoghurt. Home-baked bread and my own marmalade and jams are also on offer, as is our local apple juice.

The large, oak table provides ample space to quietly read a newspaper whilst enjoying breakfast or to socialise with the other guests – you choose. There is also a cosy corner where you can end your breakfast with a relaxed cup of coffee before you head out to start your day.

Early or packed breakfasts are available and, for an extra charge, packed lunches can be provided.

Please note: food is prepared in a kitchen that regularly uses nuts and seeds. If you have any food allergies, please discuss this at the time of booking.

It seems that the Belvedere breakfasts are going down a storm. All I have to do is cook it, the real stars are the people that produce the wonderful ingredients I use. I think it's high time they are given credit for making so many people so happy (and so full)!

Ragmans Lane In view of the house, this farm produces our wonderful apple juice

The Dairy House Delicious organic yoghurts, the creamiest cream and the best creme fraiche we've ever tasted

The Country Butcher Award-winning bacon and sausages - these always get applauded at the breakfast table

Severn & Wye Smokery Try a kipper or some smoked haddock and be confident that you're eating the best there is.

Netherend Farm Real farmhouse butter. Strange, but nobody ever seems to ask for margarine these days!

Smarts Cheese Want a packed lunch or cheese omelette at breakfast?

Eggs by Clive and Mandy. " Genuine Free Range Eggs, from happy hens, who are free to roam every day, in small flocks. Every egg is fresh from the farm, the yolks are a beautiful deep colour"

And finally, huge thanks go to Forest Food. This local co-operative delivers much of the above to my door cutting our food miles even further. Not only do we have happy guests, but we're helping the environment too.
